The Veterinary Marketing Association is a member-led, non-profit organisation devoted to the professional enhancement of all its members, promoting best practice and enhancing skills in veterinary marketing. It does this mainly through the provision of high quality CPD events and by providing a networking hub and online resources for its members.
The membership is made up of marketing professionals from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds working within the veterinary industry, as well as veterinary professionals who have marketing responsibilities within their role.
The VMA acts as a central body for UK professionals working in all areas of the animal health industry and clinical veterinary practice who have an interest in the promotion of products, services or health and welfare information. Members benefit from enhanced opportunities to network, take part in continuing professional development and share knowledge with those in related roles across over fifty companies ranging in size from small advertising agencies and private veterinary practices to multinational pharmaceutical companies. Members work at all levels from advertising executives and marketing assistants to marketing directors and senior executives.
Through the VMA, members are able to engage more fully with the wider veterinary industry and with national authorities to ensure that the voice of veterinary marketing is heard in public consultations with the potential to shape the future of marketing and the animal health industry. The association has a unique position in that it is a source of unrivalled marketing expertise, but without any particular company or agency bias. Therefore it is a credible and independent voice.
